Anne Arundel County police arrested two people after a traffic stop in Glen Burnie early Saturday. The arrest led officers to seize marijuana, distribution materials and a gun.

Shortly after 2 a.m., police in a patrol car near Nolpark Drive saw a woman acting "suspicious" and attempting to flag down cars.

According to police, the woman walked to a 2007 Dodge Avenger and entered the vehicle. Police followed the vehicle as it traveled toward Crain Highway.

Police stopped the car for a traffic violation, and police smelled an odor of marijuana on the male driver.

Officers found 13.3 grams of marijuana packaged for distribution, a scale, $690 in cash and a loaded handgun in the vehicle. Police also found 21.2 grams of marijuana on the woman.

Officers arrested Andrew Gary Neale, 22, of Severn, and charged him with possession of marijuana, possession with intent to distribute, three counts of possessing paraphernalia and several gun possession charges.

Officers arrested Brittney Leann Brooks, 22, of Pasadena, and charged her with one count of possessing marijuana, one count of possession with the intent to distribute and one count of possessing paraphernalia.
