UPDATE (1:20 p.m.)—Police charged a man in connection to an incident early Thursday morning at Tall Pines Court in Glen Burnie where there was a reported assault. There was also a fire at the same apartment complex.

Police charged Toriano Avery Angibeau of the 2100 block of Hillwood Road in Glen Burnie with four counts of second-degree assault and said the fire appears to be related. The Fire Marshal’s office is continuing their investigation of the fire, police said.

According to a release from Anne Arundel County police, officers from the eastern district responded to a reported assault in the 7800 block of Tall Pines Court on Thursday just before 3 a.m.

"Officers learned an argument involving several people erupted during a party in an apartment and then carried into the parking lot," according to the police press release.

At least one person was assaulted in the face and was taken to a local hospital—but refused treatment, police said. Detectives later determined Angibeau assaulted four people but none of the victims were seriously injured, according to police.

Anyone with further information is encouraged to contact police at 410-222-6145.
