Three Robberies, Three Days in Glen Burnie

Anne Arundel County police responded to three robberies in Glen Burnie between Friday and Sunday.

The first robbery was Friday night and resulted in the arrest of three juveniles.

Shortly before 7:30 p.m., five suspects approached a man delivering a pizza to a residence on the 6400 block of Lincoln Court, and attempted to rob him. One of the suspects assaulted the victim, who then fought off the suspects with a metal pipe.

The suspects fled on foot, and arriving officers located three of the suspects hiding and running in the immediate area. Police charged three suspects–one 13-year-old and two 14-year-olds–as juveniles for robbery, second-degree assault and reckless endangerment.

Shortly before 6 p.m. on Saturday, two men approached the male victim near the 7800 block of Oakwood Rd. and asked for money. As the victim pulled money out of his pocket, one of the suspects began struggling with the man, attempting to take the money.

The suspects threw the victim to the ground and started punching him and took his wallet, according to police.

Arriving officers searched the immediate area, but failed to locate the suspects.
