Apartment Fire Breaks Out Along Route 40: Susquehanna Hose Co.
Firefighters converged at a building near the Hatem Bridge due to a fire Tuesday night, officials said.
HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — Fire broke out at an apartment building on Route 40 Tuesday evening, according to public safety officials. The blaze was quickly contained by the Susquehanna Hose Company, officials said.
Firefighters were handling a blaze in the 700 block of Pulaski Highway, according to the Susquehanna Hose Company. Flames were showing from the two-story apartment building when crews arrived, officials reported at 7:50 p.m.
After 8 p.m., the hose company reported the majority of the fire had been knocked. It had extended to the kitchen of one apartment, and crews were checking for extension.
