Bill Martin would be OK with a rainy forecast all week.

The City Council president, who volunteers to put out candles every second Sunday in December, is looking for a rain-free afternoon, as Havre de Grace hosts the .

The event will take place from 4-8 p.m. Sunday—weather pending.

Martin helps organize the placement of about a thousand bags with candles, specifically along Union Avenue.

"It looks like a runway," Martin said of the view down Union Avenue for the tour. "Hopefully we won’t have any rain this year, we’ve been rained out for two years."

Four nearly 40 years, the , as well as churches and bed and breakfasts. The residences and businesses on the tour will be open to the public.
