Car Into Water At Tydings Park Sends 2 To Hospital: Officials
Crews in Havre de Grace were called to Tydings Park Monday after a car drove partly into the water, officials said.

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — Two people were taken to the hospital after a vehicle drove into the water Monday afternoon near the Havre de Grace City Yacht Basin, according to officials. The driver and a good Samaritan were being evaluated, the Susquehanna Hose Company reported.
First responders said they were dispatched for a vehicle into the water at Tydings Park after 3 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 10.
The Susquehanna Hose Company was first at the scene and confirmed that a vehicle was partly in the water; upon investigation, officials said they determined that the driver had been helped from the water by a good Samaritan, and both were both on shore.

The Susquehanna Hose Company, Havre de Grace Ambulance Corp and Charlestown Fire Company responded to the call, officials reported.
Both the driver and the good Samaritan were taken to a local hospital to be evaluated for potential hypothermia, according to the Susquehanna Hose Company.

The water temperature was 45.7 Fahrenheit, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration reported.
Crews cleared shortly after the patients were transported.
