Harford County Extends Hours at Yard Waste Facilities After Ice Storm
The Harford County Department of Public Works is extending hours at its yard waste facilities after the recent winter weather, officials  said Thursday.

Fallen tree branches and similar debris from this week’s ice storm can be dropped off as follows:

"We are grateful to Director Tim Whittie of the Department of Public Works and his staff for extending the hours of operation at their facilities to allow residents of our county the opportunity to properly dispose of tree debris resulting from this week’s storm," Harford County Emergency Manager Rick Ayers said. "This is another example of government working together to meet the needs of the public following a severe weather event."
