6-Mile Backup on I-95 North of Havre de Grace: MDTA
Lanes were closed on Interstate 95 past MD 155 Sunday following tractor-trailer fire, transportation officials report.
HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — A tractor-trailer fire north of Havre de Grace is causing miles of backups Sunday afternoon on Interstate 95.
Delays stretched 6 miles long as of 3:20 p.m. from lane closures due to the tractor-trailer fire, according to the Maryland Transportation Authority.
The vehicle blaze on I-95 north occurred past the exit for MD 155 after 2:15 p.m., according to the Coordinated Highways Action Response Team (CHART).

By 3:30 p.m., the right lanes were blocked, with vehicles getting by on the left lane and shoulder, the Maryland Transportation Authority reported.
