Warriors Swim into 5th Place at Joppatowne

Below are results from the week of Dec. 10 in Warriors sports. Check back for scores from boys wrestling at Joppatowne (tournament Friday/Saturday).

  • Swimming placed 5th out of 12 teams in a meet at Joppatowne.

Coming in before the Warriors were Mount de Sales, C. Milton Wright Mustangs, North Harford Hawks and Mount de Sales (B team).

Two Warriors had some of the top times this week among Harford County swimmers: Alyssa Smith, a junior at Havre de Grace, was third in the 100-yard butterfly. Her time was 1:09.62. Sophomore Allissa Lyons was third in the women's 200-yard freestyle, with a time of 2:15.71; third in the 500-yard freestyle, clocking in at 5:53.85; third in the 50-yard backstroke, with a time of 31:91; and fourth in the 100-yard backstroke, coming in at 1:08.74.

The Warriors boys basketball team is now 2-2 after a close game against the Eagles.

  • Girls basketball was defeated by Patterson Mill, 57-26.

  • Boys wrestling fell to Aberdeen, 46-21.
  • Coed swimming beat Aberdeen, 112-74; lost to North Harford, 111-77.
