Leonard "Rob" Stone left his home without his medication, family members told police.

Update: Missing Kensington Man with Dementia Located Tuesday
Update, 3 p.m.: Police confirmed that Stone was located and back with his family on Tuesday, July 30.

Original story, 9 a.m.: Montgomery County police are asking for the public's help in locating Leonard "Rob" Stone, a 65-year-old Kensington man that was last seen by his family at 9:30 a.m. Monday. Stone's family is worried because he suffers from dementia, police said, among other medical issues, and doesn't have his medicine with him.

Stone was last seen at his home in the 4500 block of Everett Street.

He is described as a white male, about 5-feet-8-inches tall and approximately 155 pounds. His hair and beard are gray, his eyes are blue and he wears rimmed glasses. Stone's family last saw him in a long-sleeved, navy, crew-neck shirt, a white undershirt and baggy khaki pants, according to police.

Police said Stone has a limp and walks very slowly, sometimes with a cane. He doesn't usually use public transit, but may be able to, police said. His family thinks he has an ID with him and some cash.

Anyone with information regarding Stone’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Montgomery County police non-emergency number, 301-279-8000.
