MARYLAND DEFENSE FORCE BAND TO PERFORM AT THE B AND O RAILROAD MUSEUM
A Concert of Holiday Music Await Listeners as the MDDF Band Rings-In the Season with Good Cheer

The Maryland Defense Force Band will present a concert of seasonal favorites on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at the B&O Railroad Museum, located at 901 West Pratt Street, Baltimore, MD. The band will be playing many holiday favorites recognizable to all who attend. This concert performance by the MDDF Band is free and open to the public.
The Baltimore & Ohio Railroad Museum is a unique cultural and educational asset for the City of Baltimore and the region. Widely known as “Maryland’s Musical Ambassadors,” the Maryland Defense Force Band is a ceremonial unit of the MDDF. The Maryland Defense Force (MDDF) is the State’s uniformed volunteer military unit providing professional and technical assistance to the Maryland Military Department. Established in 1917, the MDDF consists of nearly 450 personnel who perform legal, engineering, finance, medical, chaplain, field support and ceremonial services for the State of Maryland.
