MARYLAND CITY, MD — Fire crews from four departments battled a Maryland City house fire that left a family of eight without a home, officials said. Residents called 911 just before 5:30 a.m. Dec. 21 to report a fire in the bedroom of their home in the 3300 block of Crumpton South, according to the Anne Arundel County Fire Department.

All of the residents were out of the house before firefighters arrived, and no injuries were reported.
