Body Found in Reisterstown Was Missing Woman: Police
Baltimore County officials will investigate the death of a Carroll County woman found in Reisterstown.

REISTERSTOWN, MD - Hours after the parents of Kristen Marie Spurrier offered a reward for information about their missing daughter, police said she was found deceased in her vehicle in Reisterstown.
Spurrier, 25, had been missing since Feb. 4, and authorities reported Monday that it was believed she had gone to Owings Mills that day to purchase drugs. She was last seen on surveillance footage from the Sunoco on Reisterstown Road.
During a news conference at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, the Spurrier family offered a reward for information about their daughter. Within hours, the family was alerted to her location.

Authorities said a Baltimore County resident who saw Spurrier's 2010 Ford Fusion called the Carroll County Sheriff's Office to report it at 4 p.m.
The vehicle was parked in the unit block of Shaftsbury Court in Reisterstown, police said.

Spurrier, who was inside the car, was deceased, according to officials. Her body was taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for autopsy to determine the cause of death.
The Baltimore County Police Department is handling the investigation because the body was found in its jurisdiction.
