New Town Dunkin’ Donuts Robbed at Gunpoint

An armed man robbed an Owings Mills Dunkin’ Donuts/Baskin Robbins store of cash on Thursday, Oct. 18.

The robber entered the store on Common Brook Road around 8:10 p.m., went behind the counter and displayed a handgun. He told employees to put money in a bag, and left the scene with cash, according to a police report.

There were eight commercial armed robberies in the Owings Mills-Reisterstown area in August and September. Police charged a man in connection with the robbery of an Owings Mills beauty shop in September. Police believe five of the other seven commercial armed robberies are connected, according to Lt. Stephen Doarnberger, assistant commander of the Baltimore County Police’s Franklin Precinct.
