Eight people were tied up and robbed in a Reisterstown home by three armed men wearing dark clothing and ski masks early Thursday, police said.
Three suspects with handguns forced their way into a home in the 200 block of Hammershire Road at 3 a.m. on Thursday, May 3, and tied up eight people, six of whom live in the home. A toddler slept through the incident, according to police Lt. Stephen Doarnberger, assistant commander of the .
“We’re exploring any link there might be between the suspects and the victims,” he said. “We don’t think this was random, that this house was targeted.”
One man was taken to Sinai Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries after he was struck in the head.
The suspects stole $20 in cash, four watches, a golden diamond ring, video game consoles and a flat screen TV. A Chevy Tahoe that was stolen was recovered a few hours later in Baltimore City.
Police also recovered a small quantity of suspected drugs and paraphernalia from the home.
