Police Blotter: Storage Units Broken Into, Golf Flags Stolen

Police Blotter: Storage Units Broken Into, Golf Flags Stolen

First-Degree Burglary

A burglar stole a PlayStation 3 with a controller and games and a Nintendo Wii with controllers and games after entering a home on the 500 block in Kennington Road in Reisterstown through unknown means between 11:20 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 14.

A burglar removed the window screen to an unlocked window, but it is not clear if anything was stolen, from a home on the 5400 block of Mt. Gilead Road in Reisterstown on Monday, Sept. 10, at 4:20 p.m. The suspect was seen fleeing the scene.

Fourth-Degree Burglary

A burglar stole a Yamaha dirt bike, Hitch mount trailer, GE fridge, Dewalt miter saw, a dolly, bike parts and three Dell monitors from a business storage unit on the 10200 block of S. Dolfield Road in Owings Mills between 4 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 14, and 5:06 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 15.

A burglar cut the locks to 18 storage units at Reisterstown Mini Storage between 8 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 14, and 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 15.

A burglar stole a TV, stereo and laptop from a storage unit on the 11900 block of Tarragon Road in Reisterstown after cutting the lock to the storage locker between 6 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 9, and 1 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 13.

A burglar removed wire ties holding a chain link that secured an area containing golf carts at Mitchell’s Golf Complex in Reisterstown between 9 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 9, and 6:30 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 10.

A burglar stole 13 golf flags from poles on the golf course at Mitchell’s Golf Complex in Reisterstown between 8 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 1, and 7 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 2.

Attempted Burglary

Someone attempted to force open a front door, damaging the door and frame, at a home on the unit block of Maybin Circle in Owings Mills between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. and on Friday, Sept. 14.

Someone tried to pry open the front window to a home on the 100 block of Shropshire Court in Reisterstown between 10 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 14, and 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 15. No entry was gained.

Someone attempted to gain entry into an apartment on the unit block of Brookebury Drive in Reisterstown by smashing the rear window and prying the screen off between 2:05 a.m. and 2:11 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 16. The suspect tried to force open the sliding glass door and was unsuccessful.

A man approached a home on the unit block of Shetland Circle in Reisterstown and looked like he was going to open windows at 10:40 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 7.
