Senior Living Complex Evacuated Due To CO Levels: Officials

BREAKING: A complex on Old Court Road was evacuated Sunday, according to the Baltimore County Fire Department.

RANDALLSTOWN, MD โ€” Elevated carbon monoxide levels led to the evacuation of a senior living complex Sunday morning in Randallstown, according to officials. One person was hospitalized, public safety personnel said.

Crews were dispatched at 11:17 a.m. to the three-story senior living complex in the 5100 block of Old Court Road for elevated carbon monoxide levels, officials said.

BGE was summoned, and the building was evacuated.

Authorities reported they had identified the source of the leak by 11:45 a.m. and were clearing the scene. The building was being ventilated, according to the Baltimore County Fire Department, which reported residents should be able to go back inside shortly.
