Vehicle Fire On I-695 At Security Boulevard Slowed Traffic

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — A vehicle fire impacted traffic on the inner loop of Interstate 695 Friday morning, according to the State Highway Administration. The fire broke out on I-695 near the exit for Security Boulevard.

The fire happened before 9:30 a.m. and initially, three lanes were closed on the inner loop.

As of 9:55 a.m., the incident had been moved to the shoulder.

After 10 a.m., the State Highway Administration reported that the incident had cleared.
