Last Chance: Businesses Needed For Window Decorating Contest

The deadline for entry is Tuesday evening.

Last Chance: Businesses Needed For Window Decorating Contest

The Parkville Carney Business Professional Association's Holiday window-decorating contest, now in it's sixth year, needs a few more participants on the business side.

On Monday morning, association board member Ed Pinder sent an email asking for a few more businesses to sign up to have their windows decorated.

Right now, Pinder said over the phone, he would like to see between six and eight more businesses sign up—but there's a catch; he needs to know by Tuesday night at the latest.

A flier with the contest rules and sign-up instructions is attached to this article.

"We are challenging the local schools and civic groups to come up with the best holiday window display," Pinder wrote in an earlier email about the contest. "Monetary donations to your program will be made if you participate."

, Parkville Dance Power, a rec dance program, and Parkville High School took first and second place, respectively, winning $225 and $200. During the 2010 contest, Loch Raven High School and Parkville High School won the top honors.
