This week we're not going to look at an old photograph and try to guess where it was taken—instead, check out this video posted to YouTube and share your memories of Parkville's Club Venus.
The supper club, which opened in 1966, was formerly located in Perring Plaza shopping center. Stills in the video slideshow show tickets for nationally famous musical acts like The Four Seasons and Smokey Robinson and the Miracles and non-musical acts like comedian Rodney Dangerfield.
The video was uploaded to Youtube by BaltimoreJam, a website that focuses on the Baltimore music scene.
What memories do you have of Club Venus? Did you ever catch a great show there? Share your memories in the comments! Don't forget! If you have some awesome piece of Parkville-Overlea area history to share, contact editor Nick Gestido:
