Body Found In Wooded Area Near Perry Hall: Police
Police said a body was found in Gunpowder Falls State Park on Friday, and an investigation is underway.

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — Police said a body was found near Perry Hall on Friday afternoon. The identity of the deceased, including the person's gender, was not being released, officials reported Friday night.
Two bikers found the body on a trail in the Gunpowder Falls State Park, according to Lt. Catherine Medellin of Maryland Natural Resources Police.
The closest landmark to where the body was found was Fox Hill Court, Medellin told Patch.

It is too soon to say definitively but Medellin said that there was "nothing obvious" to suggest foul play.
Investigators remained at the scene Friday evening.

"The case is unfolding as we speak," Medellin told Perry Hall Patch at approximately 5:45 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 8, noting there were few details available at this point in the investigation.
A Perry Hall Patch reader said there was police activity off Miller Road Friday evening, in an area that backs up to Gunpowder.
The body was located in the woods off Belair Road near Miller Road at 3:17 p.m., WBAL reported.
