White Marsh Post Office Meeting Canceled

Baltimore County Councilman David Marks provided an update on the situation.

White Marsh Post Office Meeting Canceled

Due to a new development, an upcoming meeting to discuss the future of the White Marsh post office is canceled, Baltimore County Councilman David Marks announced on Sunday.

Previously, a meeting was slated for April 9 to discuss the plans for the post office, which is on land owned by the White Marsh Volunteer Fire Company, Marks said.

"There was some uncertainty while the company was considering a development proposal along Ebenezer Road," Marks explained.

However, Richard Hancock, the real estate specialist for the postal service, told Marks the post office was finalizing a five-year lease agreement with the fire company and anticipated staying in the location.

"White Marsh residents can be assured that they will have a post office here for at least another five years," Marks said.

"The Perry Hall Improvement Association thanks Councilman Marks and the White Marsh Volunteer Fire Company for making sure that postal service remains at this location," Perry Hall Improvement Association President Dennis Robinson said.
