Get Free Cone from Dairy Queen in White Marsh

WHITE MARSH, MD — Don't let the day pass you by without grabbing your free ice cream.

On Tuesday, March 15, participating Dairy Queen locations are offering each customer one free small vanilla cone. During the promotion, Dairy Queen asks for donations to the Children's Miracle Network.

The Dairy Queen at White Marsh Mall is located at 8200 Perry Hall Boulevard.

Dairy Queen usually schedules the fundraiser and promotion for the first day of spring but is holding it early this year in honor of the 75th anniversary of Free Cone Day, reports Bustle.

Barry Westrum, executive vice president of marketing for American Dairy Queen Corporation, told Yahoo Finance that DQ raised $140,000 in one day last year, averaging about 1,330 cones per store. He said he hopes to surpass those numbers this year.

Children's Miracle Network helps raise funds and create awareness programs for the benefit of children, and the network includes more than 170 hospitals nationwide.
