Perry Hall High School Briefly Evacuated for Smoke Smell
Students at  Perry Hall High had to evacuate their school building briefly on Tuesday due to an odor, according to a Baltimore County Public Schools official.

Around noon on Tuesday, there was a smell of smoke in the building in the 4600 block of Ebenezer Road, Baltimore County Public Schools Chief Communication Officer Mychael Dickerson said.

As a result, the building was evacuated, Baltimore County firefighters responded and in short order, they deemed the building safe for students and staff to return, Dickerson said.

Electricians were working to determine whether there were any issues with the system, according to Dickerson, who said school continued as usual for the remainder of the afternoon.
