The Maryland State Highway Administration said that recent weather has led to potholes on area roads.
"Potholes are a normal result of the freeze and thaw cycle, so we are seeing more thanks to the numerous storms this year," said SHA Administrator Melinda B. Peters.
drivers reportedly blew tires Saturday as the result of potholes in the 8800 block of Belair Road, near Wells Fargo bank in the Perry Hall area.
To help track and repair potholes, the state has established an
online reporting system.
“Once potholes are reported, crews will respond within one business day to repair the pavement," Peters said.
