Good morning, Potomac. Here are the five things you need to know to get you through the day.

1. Just when we thought spring was on it’s way, we are recovering from overnight snowfall. And with snowfall comes school closings — Montgomery County Public Schools is this morning. It does look like the worst of the snow is over as the National Weather Service is predicting highs near 32 degrees with sun.

2. If you’re looking for more information about Churchill High School’s sports teams, don’t miss the tonight from 7:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at the school. For more information about the Booster Club and some of Churchill's outstanding students and teams, check out their website.

3. The ICC may not be open for commuters just yet, but Gov. Martin O’Malley and other government officials celebrated the completion of the first section of the Intercounty Connector at a ceremony along the new toll highway on Monday morning.
