This weekend is your last chance to see this year’s Winston Churchill High School Blast performance.
The show, this year dedicated to the legendary Dick Clark, has been met with enthusiasm throughout the Churchill community, according to show organizers:
All three performances were greeted by loud applause after each act and standing ovations at the end of each show. Audience members enjoyed watching and listening to the talented singers, dancers, and musicians. And they marveled at the creative set, and sophisticated lighting and sound.
Our Blast 24 bloggers say they hope the enthusiasm continues, especially for this year’s graduating senior cast members:
For the show’s seniors, reality is now setting in that there are only two more Blast performances in their future.
Erik [Rigaux] relates that he will really miss everyone associated with Blast and is already feeling nostalgic about ending his Blast career. Referring to the tradition carried out before the final show, Erik notes, “I will have to write a killer senior speech to remember it all.”
Tickets for the Friday and Saturday shows can still be purchased online at www.wchsarts.com. Online sales will close Thursday night at 10 p.m. Tickets will be available for purchase at the box office starting an hour before the show.
