On The Road
As of 7:07 a.m, the southbound-left shoulder and left traffic lane of I-270 South are closed prior to the exit for MD-85/Buckeystown Pike due to a disabled vehicle in the roadway, according to MDOT. [Frederick, MD]
As of 6:59 a.m., the eastbound shoulder and traffic lane of MD-298 south of MD-213 are closed, according to MDOT. [Kennedyville, MD]
As of 6:51 a.m., northbound-right shoulder and right traffic lane of I-95 North past the exit for MD-43/White Marsh Boulevard are closed, according to MDOT. [White Marsh, MD]
As of 6:41, both directions of MD-193/University Boulevard between Lorain Avenue and Brunett Avenue are closed due to a crash, according to WTOP Traffic. [Kemp Mill, MD]
As of 6:33 a.m., the 2300 block of Branch Avenue, Southeast, is closed between Alabama Avenue and Bangor Street due to a vehicle crash, according to DC Alerts. [Washington, DC]
As of 6:19 a.m., the 1500 block of White Place, Southeast, between Minnesota Avenue and Park Place is closed due to police activity, according to DC Alerts. [Washington, DC]
As of 6 a.m., flashing traffic lights are reported at Suitland Parkway in both directions at Firth Sterling Avenue, Southeast, according to WTOP Traffic. [Washington, DC]
On Metro
As of 7:03 a.m., Metrobus riders on Routes 36, V7, and W4 are experiencing delays in both directions on Alabama Avenue, Southeast, according to Metro. [Washington, DC]
As of 6:48 a.m., the westbound shoulder of MD-140 between Reese Road and Old Baltimore Road are closed, according to MDOT. [Carrollton, MD]
Local and Express shuttle bus service available at Stadium-Armory due to the summer platform improvement project, according to Metro. Several stations in Maryland on the Orange Line are closed due to the project: Minnesota Avenue, Deanwood, Cheverly, Landover, and New Carrollton. [Washington, DC]
DC Weather
Skies over the Washington, D.C. metro region were mostly cloudy with a temperature of 66 degrees, around 7:30 a.m., on Thursday, according to the National Weather Service.
Thursday will be mostly sunny and very warm, according to the AccuWeather forecast. There's a 25 percent chance of rain, with an expected high of 89 and a low of 70.
