As of 7:19 a.m., a disabled truck is blocking he left lane of southbound DC-295 before Benning Road, Northeast, according to WTOP Traffic. [Deanwood, DC]
As of 7:17 a.m., a disabled vehicle is reported on the Inner Loop of the Capital Beltway/I-95 at the exit for MD-414/St. Barnabas Road, according to MDOT. [Oxon Hill, MD]
As of 7:05 a.m., debris is reported in the roadway on US-1 North at the Capital Beltway/I-495, according to MDOT. [Greenbelt, MD]
As of 6:53 a.m., a crash is causing delays in both directions on Briggs Chaney Road between Peach Orchard Road and Old Columbia Pike, according to WTOP Traffic. [Fairland, MD]
As of 6:50 a.m., debris is reported in the roadway on I-83 South past the exit for southbound MD-137/Mount Carmel Road, according to MDOT. [Hereford, MD]
As of 6:22 a.m., a disabled vehicle is reported on MD-5/Branch Avenue at the northbound ramp to Outer Loop of the Capital Beltway/I-495, according to WTOP Traffic. [Temple Hills, MD]

As of 6:20 a.m., lane of I-95 South is closed at the Toll Plaza due to a collision involving a single vehicle, according to MDOT. [Baltimore, MD]
As of 5:49 a.m., the right lane of northbound MD-4/Pennsylvania Avenue is blocked after Woodyard Road due to a disabled truck, according to WTOP Traffic. [Meadows, MD]

As of 11:13 p.m., on Sunday, East Capitol Street is closed in both directions between 2nd Street and 3rd Street due to a work zone in effect, WTOP Traffic. [Capitol Hill, DC]
As of 7:59 p.m, on Sunday, both right off rams of the Inner Loop of the Baltimore Beltway/I-695 and both the left and right off ramps of the Outer Loop/I-695 at the exit for I-70 are closed due to roadwork, according MDOT. [Catonsville, MD]
As of Saturday morning, right traffic lane and shoulder of MD-173 North between Cabot Drive and Marley Neck Boulevard are closed due to a utility problem, according to MDOT. [Fort Armistead, MD]
On Metro
Metrobuses on Route F14 are detouring at Naylor Road Station due to police activity, according to Metro. [Temple Hills, MD]
Local and Express shuttle bus service available at Stadium-Armory due to the summer platform improvement project, according to Metro. Several stations in Maryland on the Orange Line are closed due to the project: Minnesota Avenue, Deanwood, Cheverly, Landover, and New Carrollton. [Washington, DC]
DC Weather
Partly cloudy skies are reported over the D.C. metro region at 7:48 a.m., on Monday, with the temperature of 71 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. The high today will be 93.
Monday will be hot, sunny, and humid, with a high of 91 and a low of 71, according to the AccuWeather forecast.
Mayor Muriel Bower activated the District's Heat Emergency Plan due to a forecast of extreme temperatures. The heat emergency will go into effect at 10 a.m., on Monday. The District's cooling centers will be open for residents seeking relief from the heat. A full list of the center locations is available online.
