On The Road
As of 7:31 a.m., the right shoulder of southbound I-95 before the exit to MD-222/Bainbridge Road was closed due to a collision, according to MDOT. [Perryville, MD]
As of 7:14 a.m., the left should and two left traffic lanes of I-95 South prior to the exit for O'Donnell Street are closed due to a disabled vehicle reported in the roadway, according to MDOT. [Baltimore, MD]
As of 7:11 a.m., the right traffic lane and shoulder of northbound MD-197 from Cherry Lane to Fort Meade Road are closed, according to MDOT. [Laurel, MD]
As of 7:11 a.m., a crash was causing delays in both direction at Snouffer School Road at Mooney Drive, according to WTOP Traffic. [Montgomery Village, MD]
As of 7:09 a.m., the shoulder of the Inner Loop of the Baltimore Beltway/I-695 is closed prior to the exit for I-95/JFK Memorial Highway due to a collision, according to MDOT. [Overlea, MD]
As of 7:04 a.m., the right shoulder of northbound MD-187 at Woodmont Avenue is closed, according to MDOT. [Bethesda, MD]
As of 7:03 a.m., the right shoulder of northbound I-95 at the exit for MD-24/Vietnam Veterans Memorial Parkway was closed due to a collision, according to MDOT. [Aberdeen, MD]
As of 6:59 a.m., the right shoulder of southbound I-95 prior to the exit for MD-22/Churchville Road is closed due to a collision, according to MDOT. [Aberdeen, MD]
As of 6:55 a.m., both shoulders of I-695/Inner Loop of Baltimore Beltway are closed at the exit for Hollins Ferry Road due to a two-vehicle crash, according to MDOT. [Landsdowne, MD]
As of 6:41 a.m., debris remains in the roadway following an earlier crash, but all lanes are open on the Outer Loop of the Capital Beltway/I-495 prior to MD-97/Georgia Avenue, according to WTOP Traffic. [Silver Spring, MD]
As of 6:11 a.m., the two right traffic lanes and right shoulder of northbound I-95 at the exit for MD-43/White Marsh Boulevard are closed due to a multi-vehicle crash, according to MDOT. [White Marsh, MD]
As of 5:32 a.m., all three traffic lanes and both shoulders in both directions on MD-193 between Langley Drive and Piney Branch Road are closed due to an accident, according to MDOT. [Clifton Park Village, MD]
On Metro
As of 6 a.m., MARC Camden Line Train 843 is currently experiencing a 15-25 minute delay this morning due to CSX freight train interference, according to MARC. [Washington, DC]
As of 5 a.m., Light RailLink is currently experiencing delays in north and southbound service, according to MTA. [Baltimore, MD]
Metrobuses on Routes C2 and C4 are detouring due to police activity. Customers at University Boulevard Piney Bridge Road may board at a Ride On stop on Piney Branch Road at University Boulevard, according to Metro. The Twinbrook detour on Piney Branch Route at University Boulevard is resuming route on University Boulevard at Williamsburg Drive. [Washington, DC]
Local and Express shuttle bus service available at Stadium-Armory due to the summer platform improvement project, according to Metro. Several stations in Maryland on the Orange Line are closed due to the project: Minnesota Avenue, Deanwood, Cheverly, Landover, and New Carrollton. [Washington, DC]
DC Weather
Skies over the Washington, D.C. metro region remained overcast around 7:42 a.m., on Monday, with the temperature at 73 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. Expect isolated thunderstorms, patchy fog and then showers later in the day.
The skies over Rockville, Maryland were cloudy and the temperature 71 degrees, according to AccuWeather. Thunderstorms are expected late in the morning and into the afternoon, with a high of 85 and low of 66.
