On The Road
As of 7:28 a.m., all lanes of Frank Tippett Road are closed in both directions between Rosaryville Road and US-301 due to fire department activity, according to WTOP traffic. [Rosaryville, MD]
As of 7:22 a.m., a crash was reported on US-301 northbound at Osbourne Road, according to WTOP traffic. [Marlton, MD]
As of 7:18 a.m., a collision was reported on the Inner Loop of the Capital Beltway/I-95 at the exit for MD-414/St. Barnabas Road, according WTOP Traffic. Crash cleared but delays remain. [Temple Hills, MD]
As of 7:03 a.m., the westbound traffic lane and shoulder of MD-144 between Maple Drive and Cherrydell Road are closed, according to MDOT. [Catonsville, MD]
As of 7 a.m., a disabled bus is blocking the center lane of northbound MD-210 after Swan Creek Road/Livingston Road, according to WTOP Traffic. [Friendly, MD]
As of 7 a.m., the northbound traffic lane and shoulder of MD-223 between Rosaryville Road and Sherwood Drive are closed, according to MDOT. [Rosaryville, MD]
As of 7 a.m., the eastbound traffic lane and shoulder of MD-16 between Steamboat Road and Harrisville Road are closed, according to MDOT. [Church Creek, MD]
As of 7 a.m., both shoulders of I-395 South from Conway Street to the Fort McHenry Tunnel are closed, according to MDOT. [Baltimore, MD]
As of 6:45 a.m., the 4900 block of Jay Street, Northeast, between 49th Street and 50th Place is closed due to fire department activity, according to D.C. Fire & EMS. [Washington, DC]
As of 6:45 a.m., both shoulders of southbound US-15 prior to Motter Avenue are closed due to a single vehicle collision, according to MDOT. [Frederick, MD]
On Metro
Due to police activity, eastbound Metrobuses are detouring on New Jersey Avenue Northwest at North Capitol Street and resuming round on Florida Avenue, Northwest at. Westbound buses are being detoured to R Street, Northwest, at Florida Avenue. Both routes resume at Florida Avenue, Northwest at 6th Street. Metrobus routes affected by these detours are 90 and 92, according to Metro. [Washington, DC]
Due to construction, eastbound Metrobuses detour on Kenmont Road at Marcy Avenue resuming route D12 on Livingston Road at Shawnee Drive, according to Metro. [Washington, DC]
As of 4:39 a.m., due to severe CSX freight train interference, all Camden Line trains are expected to incur delays of 15-30 minutes, according to MTA. [Washington, DC]
Local and Express shuttle bus service available at Stadium-Armory due to the summer platform improvement project, according to Metro. Several stations in Maryland on the Orange Line are closed due to the project: Minnesota Avenue, Deanwood, Cheverly, Landover, and New Carrollton. [Washington, DC]
DC Weather
A few clouds were reported in the skies over the Washington, D.C. metro region around 7:45 a.m. on Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service. The temperature was 62 degrees.
In Rockville, the temperature was 67 degrees under clear skies, according to the AccuWeather forecast. Wednesday will be mostly sunny with a high of 87 and a low of 66.
