As of 7:22 a.m., a crash was reported on the Inner Loop of the Capital Beltway/I-95 at the exit for MD-414/ St. Barnabas Road, according to MDOT. All lanes are open. [Oxon Hill, MD].
As of 7:17 a.m., a collision was reported on I-50 East at Lottsford Vista Road, according to MDOT. All traffic lanes are open. [Mitchellville, MD]
As of 7:12 a.m., a crash was reported on eastbound I-50 at MD-704/Martin Luther King Jr. Highway, according to WTOP Traffic. All lanes are open; proceed with caution. [Temple Hills, MD]
As of 7:10 a.m., northbound-right traffic lane and the right shoulder of I-95 North past the exit for MD-43/White Marsh Boulevard are closed, according to MDOT. [White Marsh, MD]
As of 7:07 a.m., eastbound traffic lane of US-40 between I-70 and Redwood Circle is closed, according to MDOT. [Funkstown, MD]
As of 7:07 a.m., both traffic lanes and shoulder of MD-70 South between Calvert Street and College Avenue are closed, according to MDOT. [Annapolis, MD]
As of 7:07 a.m., right northbound traffic lane and right shoulder of US-15 North are closed at West Main Street, according to MDOT. [Thurmont, MD]
As of 6:57 a.m., northbound-right traffic lane and the right shoulder of I-95 North past the exit for MD-155/Level Road are closed, according to MDOT. [Havre de Grace, MD]
As of 6:56 a.m., northbound left shoulder of I-95 North from Weigh Station Access Road to Cherry Hill Road is closed, according to MDOT. [Cherry Hill Park, MD]
As of 6:46 a.m., one northbound lane of traffic and shoulder of I-95 North are closed at the exit for northbound US-1/Caton Avenue, according to MDOT. [Violetville, MD]
As of 6:46 a.m., the northbound-right shoulder of I-895 past the Outer Loop of the Baltimore Beltway is closed, according to MDOT. [Landsdowne, MD]
As of 6:46 a.m., police are investigating a robbery in the 1600 block of Kenilworth Avenue, Northeast, according to the Metropolitan Police Department. Police are looking for three juveniles, one of whom is armed with a black handgun. They were last seen headed north on Kenilworth Avenue toward Maryland. [Washington, DC]
On Metro
Due to construction on Q Street between Foxhall Road and 45th Street, Northwest, eastbound Metrobuses on Route D6 will detour on Reservoir Road between 7 a.m. and 2 p.m., on Thursday and Friday, according to Metro. [Washington, DC]
Local and Express shuttle bus service available at Stadium-Armory due to the summer platform improvement project, according to Metro. Several stations in Maryland on the Orange Line are closed due to the project: Minnesota Avenue, Deanwood, Cheverly, Landover, and New Carrollton. [Washington, DC]
DC Weather
Temperatures will gradually warm up through the end of the week, with isolated scattered thunderstorms expected Thursday afternoon and into the evening, especially south of US-50, according to the National Weather Service.
Skies over Rockville around 7:45 a.m., on Thursday, were sunny with a temperature of 61 degrees, according to the AccuWeather forecast. The high on Thursday is expected to be 84 and the low 63.
