MCPS Offering More Meal Distribution Sites

ROCKVILLE, MD — Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) on Monday officially expanded its meal distribution sites and is now offering its Grab + Go meals at 11 designated bus sites: eight of which are secondary and elementary schools and three are non-MCPS sites.

Meals are available from 11:30 a.m. to 12: 30 p.m. every weekday, except for Wednesdays. Tuesday is a double meal day and Friday is a triple meal day. At the point of service, those picking up meals are required to have their tally sheet. Names and Pin #s will not be sufficient.

The MCPS school bus sites are:

• Emory Grove Center, 18100 Washington Grove Lane in Gaithersburg
• Greencastle Elementary School, 13611 Robey Road in Silver Spring
• Harmony Ellis Elementary School, 13407 Lydia Street in Silver Spring
• New Hampshire Estates Elementary School, 8720 Carroll Avenue in Silver Spring
• Shady Grove Middle School, 8100 Midcounty Highway in Gaithersburg
• South Lake Elementary School, 18201 Contour Road in Gaithersburg
• Summit Hall Elementary School, 101 West Deer Park Road in Gaithersburg

The non-MCPS Grab + Go sites are:

• Governor Square Apartments, 409 Muddy Branch Road in Gaithersburg
• Middlebrook Mobile, 19515 Frederick Road in Germantown
• Rockville Housing, 1251 First Street in Rockville

Additionally, students now can pick up meals at the Up County Early Childhood Center in Rockville, though the pickup time is from 11:30 a.m. to noon.
