On The Road
As of 7:18 a.m., the right acceleration lane and shoulder of the Outer Loop of the Capital Beltway/I-95 were closed at the exit for MD-214/Central Avenue due to a crash involving two vehicles, according to MDOT. [Largo, MD]
As of 7:05 a.m., the right shoulder of southbound I-270 is closed at the exit for MD-109/Old Hundred Lane is closed due to a crash, according to MDOT. [Hyattstown, MD]
As of 6:52 a.m., one traffic and shoulder of southbound I-95 past the exit for I-895/Harbor Tunnel Thruway was closed due to a collision involving three vehicles, according to MDOT. [Baltimore, MD]
As of 6:36 a.m., a crash was cleared on southbound I-270 between MD-85/Buckeystown Pike and MD-80/Urbana but delays remain, according to WTOP traffic. [Monocacy National Battlefield, MD]
As of 5:46 a.m., the right lane of northbound Baltimore-Washington Parkway was blocked due to a crash, according to WTOP traffic. [East Riverdale, MD]
On Metro
As of 4:39 a.m., all MARC Camden Line trains are expected to incur delays of 15-30 minutes Tuesday morning due to severe CSX freight train interference, according to MTA [Washington, DC]
As of 4:16 a.m., due to a driver shortage, the following Commuter Bus routes will not operate on Tuesday, according to MTA: Routes 715 and 830. This will also affect Route 840.[Washington, DC]
Local and Express shuttle bus service available at Stadium-Armory due to the summer platform improvement project, according to Metro. Several stations in Maryland on the Orange Line are closed due to the project: Minnesota Avenue, Deanwood, Cheverly, Landover, and New Carrollton. [Washington, DC]
DC Weather
A few clouds were reported over the D.C. region on Tuesday morning, with a temperature of 71 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. Patchy fog is expected to give way to partly sunny skies, with a high of 85.
Sunshine and patchy clouds were reported around 7:25 a.m., on Tuesday, over Rockville, Maryland, according to the AccuWeather forecast. Temperatures are expected to reach 85 degrees, with a low of 64.
