On The Road

As of 7:07 a.m., northbound-right traffic lane and the right shoulder of I-95 North past the exit for MD-43/White Marsh Boulevard are closed, according to MDOT. [White Marsh, MD]

As of 6:55 a.m., northbound left shoulder of I-95 North from Weigh Station Access Road to Cherry Hill Road is closed, according to MDOT. [Cherry Hill Park, MD]

As off 6:55 a.m., both northbound lanes of MD-151 between Sparrows Point Boulevard and Wharf Road are closed, according to MDOT. [Sparrows Point, MD]

As of 6:55 a.m., both traffic lanes and shoulder of MD-70 South between Calvert Street and College Avenue are closed, according to MDOT. [Annapolis, MD]

As of 6:35 a.m., F Street, Southeast is closed in both directions between Alabama Avenue, Southeast and 46th Street, Southeast due to police activity, according to WTOP Traffic. [Washington, DC]

POLICE ACTIVITY ON CONSTITUTION AVE: As of 6:30 a.m., all lanes of Constitution Avenue, Northwest in both directions are blocked between 15th and 17th Streets, Northwest due to police activity, according to MATOC. An extended closure is expected. [Washington, DC]

As of 5:12 a.m., the northbound-right traffic lane and shoulder of US-301 North and MD-300 are closed due to a crash involving a single vehicle , according to MDOT. [Sudlersville, MD]

On Metro

Expect delays on the Silver Line to the Wiehle-Reston East Station in Virginia due to a disabled train at Federal Triangle, according to Metro. [Washington, DC]

Due to construction on Q Street between Foxhall Road and 45th Street, Northwest, eastbound Metrobuses on Route D6 will detour on Reservoir Road between 7 a.m. and 2 p.m., on Friday, according to Metro. [Washington, DC]

Local and Express shuttle bus service available at Stadium-Armory due to the summer platform improvement project, according to Metro. Several stations in Maryland on the Orange Line are closed due to the project: Minnesota Avenue, Deanwood, Cheverly, Landover, and New Carrollton. [Washington, DC]

DC Weather

Expect increasing clouds to disrupt the fair weather across the Washington, D.C. area on Friday, with 93 percent humidity, according to the National Weather Service. The temperature at 7:27 a.m. was 62 degrees, with an expected high on Friday of 88.

The skies will be sunny with a 1 percent chance of precipitation on Friday, according to the AccuWeather forecast. The temperature in Rockville at 7:30 a.m. was 63 degrees. Friday's high temperature will be 87 and the low 67.
