On The Road
As of 7:09 a.m., lefthand land and shoulder of US-113 between Public Landing Road and Castle Hill Road are closed, according to MDOT. [Snow Hill, MD]
As of 7 a.m., delays remain on westbound MD-32 near MD-175 due to an earlier car fire, according to WTOP. Follow police direction. [Odenton, MD]
As of 6:55 a.m., road closure on northbound I-95 north of Frenchtown Road at the John F. Kennedy Highway Toll Plaza, according to MVDOT. [Perryville, MD]
As of 6:55 a.m., both southbound lanes of MD-70 between Calvert Street and College Avenue are closed, according to MDOT. [Annapolis, MD]
As of 6:52 a.m., one-third of the right southbound lane and shoulder of I-895 before the exit to Shell Road is closed, according to MDOT. [Baltimore, MD]
As of 6:42 a.m., expect delays in both directions on MD-295/Baltimore-Washington Parkway near I-195/BWI Marshall Airport due to a crash, according to WTOP. [BWI Marshall Airport, MD]
On Metro
As of 6:44 a.m., due to a shortage of drivers Commuter Bus Service on Route 705/Trip #17 will not operate on Tuesday, according to MDOT. [Waldorf, MD]
From 4 a.m., on Tuesday, until 6 a.m., on Saturday, Metro Subway will single track trains from Owings Mills to Reisterstown Plaza stations to complete required track maintenance, according to MDOT. [Baltimore, MD]
Local and Express shuttle bus service available at Stadium-Armory due to the summer platform improvement project, according to Metro. Several stations in Maryland on the Orange Line are closed due to the project: Minnesota Avenue, Deanwood, Cheverly, Landover, and New Carrollton. [Washington, DC]
DC Weather
Rain is expected to begin in the Rockville area around 9 a.m., on Tuesday, according to the AccuWeather forecast. The day will be mostly cloudy with a 41 percent chance of precipitation. An afternoon thunderstorm is possible. The temperature at 7:30 a.m. was 72 degrees. The high on Tuesday will be 77 and the low 67.
