[Update: As of 7:56 a.m., the roadway was clear but traffic remains heavy.] As of 7:21 a.m., a vehicle fire has closed the left lane and left shoulder of the Inner Loop of the Capital Beltway/I-95 at MD-214, according to MDOT. [Largo, MD]
As of 7:19 a.m., a disabled vehicle was reported on the Inner Loop of I-495/Capital Beltway after MD-355/Rockville Pike, according to WTOP News. [Rockville, MD]
As of 7:07 a.m., the two left traffic lanes and shoulder of I-95 North at the Tydings Bridge are closed, according to MDOT. [Cecil County, MD]
As off 7:01 a.m., a crash was reported on southbound Baltimore-Washington Parkway after MD-410, according to WTOP News. [Lanham, MD]
As of 7 a.m., a crash was reported on inbound I-695 at the 11th Street Bridge near M Street, Southeast, according to WTOP News. [Washington, DC]
As of 7 a.m., Kentucky Avenue, Southeast between D Street, Southeast and E Street, Southeast is closed in both directions due to a water main break, according to WTOP. [Washington, DC]
As of 6:48 a.m., a disabled vehicle was reported on the Inner Loop of the Capital Beltway/I-495 prior to the MD-185/Connecticut Avenue exit, according to MDOT. [Chevy Chase, MD]
As of 6:32 a.m., a crash was reported on the right side of the Outer Loop of the Capital Beltway/I-495 near the MD-450/Annapolis Road, according to WTOP. [Lanham, MD]
On MARC
As of 6:57 a.m., MARC Camden Line Train 842, which was scheduled to depart Washington, D.C. at 7 a.m., is expected to experience a 30-40 minute departure delay this morning due to late arriving equipment, according to Maryland MTA. [Washington, DC]
On Metro
As of 7:38 a.m., due to First Amendment demonstration activity on Pennsylvania Avenue at 13th Street, Northwest, buses may experience delays in both directions, according to Metro. [Washington, DC]
As of 7:38 a.m., due to police activity on Bruce Place, Southeast at Jasper Place, buses are experiencing delays in both directions, according to Metro. [Washington, DC]
As of 6:43 a.m., expect residual delays on the Green Line heading to Greenbelt, Maryland due to an earlier disabled train at L'Enfant Plaza, according to Metro. [L'Enfant Plaza, DC]
From 4 a.m., on Tuesday, until 6 a.m., on Saturday, Metro Subway will single track trains from Owings Mills to Reisterstown Plaza stations to complete required track maintenance, according to MDOT. [Baltimore, MD]
Local and Express shuttle bus service available at Stadium-Armory due to the summer platform improvement project, according to Metro. Several stations in Maryland on the Orange Line are closed due to the project: Minnesota Avenue, Deanwood, Cheverly, Landover, and New Carrollton. [Washington, DC]
