On The Road

As of 7:33 a.m., a crash was reported on westbound Southern Avenue, Southeast near Urn Street, according to WTOP Traffic. [Washington, DC]

As of 7:31 .m., a crash was reported on southbound MD-202/Largo Road at White House Road, according to WTOP Traffic. [Largo, MD]

As of 7:21 a.m., a crash is impacting traffic in both directions on Alabama Avenue, Southeast near Naylor Road, Southeast, according to WTOP Traffic. [Washington, DC]

As of 7:18 a.m., a crash was reported on eastbound MD-337/Allentown Road before Suitland Road, according to WTOP Traffic. [Washington, DC]

As of 7:17 a.m., all lanes in both directions on MD-117/Clopper Road between MD-119/Great Seneca Highway and Mateny Road are closed due to a water main break, according to WTOP Traffic. All lanes are also blocked of MD-117/Clopper Road between Allspice Drive and Waring Station Road. [Germantown, MD]

As of 7:17 a.m., the northbound-right shoulder and right traffic lane of I-95 North past the exit for MD-43/White Marsh Boulevard are closed, according to MDOT. [Bradshaw, MD]

As of 7:12 a.m., the westbound shoulder of MD-328 at Tuckahoe Road is closed due to a vehicle fire, according to MDOT. [Asbury, MD]

As of 7:10 a.m., the west-bound right shoulder and right turn lane of MD-450 West at MD-704 are closed due to a utility problem, according to MDOT. [Lanham, MD]

As of 7:05 a.m., the northbound-right shoulder of I-95 North prior to the exit for I-395/Cal Ripken Way is closed due to a two-vehicle collision, according to MDOT. [Baltimore, MD]

As of 7:05 a.m., an active closure was reported in both directions on US-301 from Governor Bridge Road to the Crain Highway, according to MDOT. [Fairwood, MD]

As of 7:o3 a.m., an active closure was reported on MD-214 in both directions from Campus Way South to Davey Street, according to MDOT. [Kettering, MD]

As of 6:59 a.m., the northbound-left shoulder of I-95 North is closed from Weigh Station Access Road to Cherry Hill Road, according to MDOT. [Adelphi, MD]

As of 6:58 a.m., the southbound-left shoulder of I-95 South past the exit for Key Highway is closed due to a collision involving a single vehicle, according to MDOT. [Baltimore, MD]

As of 6:55 a.m., the southbound right shoulder of I-95 North at the exit for I-295/Baltimore-Washington Parkway is closed due to a two-vehicle collision, according to MDOT. [Baltimore, MD]

As of 6:34 a.m., the left shoulder of the Outer Loop of I-495/Capital Beltway is blocked due to a crash, according to WTOP Traffic.

As of 4:49 p.m, on Tuesday, the westbound-shoulder, one eastbound traffic lane, and the center turn lane of MD-117 at Metz Drive are closed due to a utility problem, according to MDOT. [Gaithersburg, MD]

Transit Alerts

Due to an operational issue, some MetroBus 17G trips may experience delays in both directions, according to Metro. [Washington, DC]

Due to a disabled Metrobus at Southern Avenue Station, buses on the following routes are experiencing delays arriving and departing the station: 32, A2, A32, D12, P12, P18, P19, W1, and W2. [Hillcrest Heights, MD]

Local and Express shuttle bus service available at Stadium-Armory due to the summer platform improvement project, according to Metro. Several stations in Maryland on the Orange Line are closed due to the project: Minnesota Avenue, Deanwood, Cheverly, Landover, and New Carrollton. [Washington, DC]

DC Weather

Wednesday is expected to be mostly sunny in the Washington, D.C. area but not as hot, according to the AccuWeather forecast. Wednesday's high temperature is 83 with a low of 61. The temperature in Rockville at 7:45 a.m. was 66 degrees.
