As 2013 gets underway, it appears many Severna Park residents have made it their New Year's resolution to hit the gym and get fit. Area gyms and clubs have reported an increase in gym memberships since the beginning of the year.
4. Paper Trousseau Moves to New Location
Paper Trousseau in Severna Park has moved to a new location across town, citing the need for a smaller space. The store well-known for its stationery products has moved from its location on Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard to a new home on Evergreen Road—the former location of Maine Cottage.
5. Poll Results: Will Leelyn Drive Expansion Help Chick-fil-A Traffic?
In an effort to help with the impending traffic, the Chick-fil-A slated to fill the former KFC on Ritchie Highway will need to make improvements to Leelyn Drive before it can open. In a recent Patch poll, 52 percent said they do not think expanding the road will help with traffic in the area. Many readers sounded off on their frustrations in the comments.
