Dave and Buster's Coming to Ellsworth Place
A new store, Forever 21 Red, was also announced by the developers of the downtown Silver Spring retail center.

Dining and entertainment venue Dave and Buster’s has signed a long-term lease to open a 40,980--square-foot location at Ellsworth Place in downtown Silver Spring in mid-2016.
This is Dave and Buster’s second location in the region; the other is in Hanover.
The long-term lease announcement was made Tuesday in a news release from Petrie Richardson Ventures and Rockwood Capital, the owner developers of the Ellsworth Place retail center.

Additionally, Forever 21 Red, a new concept store by Forever 21, signed a lease for 13,508 square feet at Ellsworth Place. The store will offer trendy Forever 21 clothing options at lower-than-normal prices. This is Forever 21 Red’s fourth North American store.
Foot Locker, the athletic footwear and apparel retailer, signed a lease for 4,035 square feet at Ellsworth Place, double the size of most of its U.S. stores.

“Our long-term goal for Ellsworth Place has always been to reinvigorate the retail offerings in downtown Silver Spring with more modern, trendy options that are in line with the rapidly changing demographic of the surrounding area,” said Terry Richardson, president and COO of PRV. “With Dave and Buster’s and Forever 21 Red officially coming to our newly renovated Ellsworth Place upon its completion mid-2016, as well as the signing of Footlocker and restaurants MOD Pizza and Not Your Average Joe’s, we are full speed ahead on creating an almost unrecognizable retail center.”
Last week, Ellsworth Place announced that anchor tenant T.J.Maxx will hold a grand opening celebration on Wednesday, November 11, from 8 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., at its 24,000-square-foot space on the first floor. Additionally, this summer, Ellsworth Place announced the grand opening of Seattle-based fast-casual pizza chain MOD Pizza, as well as the lease signing of New England-inspired restaurant Not Your Average Joes, which is set to open spring 2016.
Current anchor tenants at Ellsworth Place include Burlington Coat Factory, Marshalls, Michaels, Ross and T.J.Maxx.
Over the next 20 years, Ellsworth Place is projected to generate approximately $38.4 million in tax revenues for Montgomery County and to support 807 permanent full-time jobs in the county. During the construction phase, the renovation is projected to generate 253 temporary jobs. On a statewide level, Ellsworth Place is projected to generate $175 million in state tax revenues and support 881 permanent jobs, inclusive of those in Montgomery County.
