Roundup: Local Bar Specials for O's Playoff Game

Bar specials on a Friday? That's absurd. That is, unless the Baltimore Orioles are making their first run at the playoffs since 1997.

Leaving a little early from work today to make happy hour is looking a little more tempting, eh?

If you live along the York Road corridor, let Patch help you decide where to watch the O's take on Texas Rangers.

Piv's Pub & Restaurant

Piv's is offering $1 Natty Boh bottles during the O's games tonight. The Cockeysville bar will also be offering $5 mixed drinks, $2.25 Mille Lite bottles and $2 Miller Lite and Bud Light drafts.

Padonia Station

Thirsty? Padonia Station is offering $3 22-ounce Bud Light drafts as well as the Baltimore Orioles/Mountain Dew inspired cocktail "Buck's Dew It" for $4. There is also a complementary Mexican buffet from 5 to 7 p.m.

Kooper's North

The newest bar in Timonium is offering Orange Crush shots for $2, Miller Lite for $3 and bacon sliders for $8.

Hightopps Backstage Grille

Renowned for its happy hour specials, Hightopps is offering it's $1 domestic drafts until 7 p.m., coupled with it's ongoing summer special $9 33-ounce pitcher of rum or Stoli punch. If the O's go into extra innings, Hightopps patrons can take advantage of its daily $2 Killians, Coors Light, Bud Light, Miller Lite or Blue Moon deal (the Red, Lite and Blue).

Michael's Café

Michael's also sports a pretty impressive happy hour with $1.25 off of select wines, $1 off domestic draft and rail drins, as well as a $6 app menu between 3 and 7 p.m.

Greene Turtle Hunt Valley

Another 3 to 7 p.m. hotspot, Greene Turtle Hunt Valley has $1.99 to $2.99 domestic drafts on tap, as well as half off wine and $1.99 rail cocktails. For the fancy beer drinkers, consider the 2.99 to 3.99 Newcastle and heineken deal.
