1 Dead After Dulaney Valley Head-On Crash: Police

A bus and sedan collided Thursday morning, leaving 10 injured and one deceased, Baltimore County public safety officials said.

BALTMORE COUNTY, MD — One person died after an adult daycare bus and a sedan crashed on Dulaney Valley Road Thursday morning, according to Baltimore County public safety officials. Ten others were injured, officials said.

At 9:12 a.m., police reported that a Hyundai Elantra and an adult daycare bus collided head-on along Dulaney Valley Road at Ridgely Road.

Guixian Shen, 88, of the 400 block of Virginia Avenue in Towson, died after being taken to a local hospital with serious injuries, according to police.

Nine people from the bus (including the bus driver) and the Hyundai Elantra driver were hospitalized with minor injuries, authorities said.

First responders were clearing the scene as of 10:40 a.m., officials reported.

Police said the investigation into the crash was ongoing.
