Towson residents celebrated a handful of men and women Friday night who work to make the area a safer place to live and work.  

Honorees included:

  • Scott Shellenberger, Baltimore County State's Attorney
  • John Cox, Baltimore County State's Attorney Office
  • Garret Glennon, Baltimore County State's Attorney Office
  • Sgt. Stephen Fink, Baltimore County Police Department
  • Officer Robert Huncher, Baltimore County Police Department
  • Officer Deborah Chenoweth, Baltimore County Police Department
  • Nancy Hafford, executive director of the Towson Chamber of Commerce

Youth Ambassador to Towson Citizens on Patrol Patrick Kammar spoke during the ceremony about the importance of helping to prevent crime saying, "If you see something, say something."

Feet on the Street is held every Friday night starting at 6 p.m. on Allegheny Avenue throughout the summer.
