Fire Struck 5 Vehicles At Towson Town Center: Officials

Vehicles in the Towson mall parking garage caught fire Tuesday, authorities said.

TOWSON, MD โ€” Five vehicles caught fire in the parking garage at Towson Town Center Tuesday afternoon, according to fire officials.

Crews were called at 1:07 p.m. to the 800 block of Dulaney Valley Road for at least one vehicle ablaze near the D2 parking area, which is by Nordstrom, according to the Baltimore County Fire Department.

The Providence Volunteer Fire Company, which was among those responding to the blaze, reported that ยทTowson Town Center remained open. Officials said they had called for additional crews to assist.

By 2:10 p.m., officials said the blaze had been extinguished. The cause of the fire was not revealed, but authorities said they believe it was a non-criminal act.
