Tractor-Trailer Crash Caused Backups on I-695

Backups continued on the outer loop of Interstate 695 near Towson into the Wednesday morning rush hour after a crash that occurred shortly after 5 a.m.

At 5:21 a.m. on Wednesday, the single-vehicle crash was reported on the outer loop of I-695 past Dulaney Valley Road, according to the Coordinated Highways Action Response Team.

A vehicle had overturned between York and Dulaney Valley roads, ABC 2 News reported.

The crash involved a tractor-trailer, according to The Baltimore Sun, which reported the vehicle had been removed from the road by 9 a.m.

After 9 a.m., Maryland Department of Transportation cameras showed that traffic was stacked up on the outer loop of I-695 near Providence Road.
