Police said the driver did not appear to be impaired.

1 Injured After Vehicle Drives into Towson Royal Farms: Police
A woman was taken to the hospital Saturday after a vehicle drove through the front of a Towson  Royal Farms store and pinned her against a counter, police said.

The crash happened at 6:02 p.m. in the 600 block of Southwick Drive, according to the Baltimore County Police Department.

Police said that for unknown reasons, a Subaru Impreza drove through the front of the store, severely damaging the storefront. The 60-year-old driver did not show any signs of impairment, police said in a statement Saturday night.

Police said the 46-year-old woman pinned inside the store was taken to St. Joseph Medical Center with injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening.

Fire department supervisors determined the building was structurally sound, police said.

Police from the Towson precinct continue to investigate.
