A suspect shot a victim in the head outside Papi's Chicken, according to police. The victim is listed in stable condition, police said.

Prince George's County Police are requesting the public's help in identifying two suspects wanted in connection with a shooting in Clinton, MD on Saturday. One suspect shot the victim in the head, police said.

Police have released surveillance images of the suspects.

The suspects approached the victim just outside Papi's Chicken in the 6300 block of Old Branch Avenue at about 7:15 p.m., according to a preliminary investigation, police said. 

Both suspects ran from the scene after the shooting. The victim was taken to a local hospital and is currently listed in stable condition, police said Monday.

Detectives are working to identify the suspects and a motive. The Prince George's County Police Department asks that anyone with information about the suspects in the surveillance photos or about the case to call the department's south District V investigative unit at 301-868-8773. Police said callers wishing to remain anonymous may call Crime Solvers at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477), text "PGPD plus your message" to CRIMES (274637) on a cell phone or go to the police's website and submit a tip online.
