Fire In Andover Causes $1 Million In Damage: Fire Officials

Five vehicles were destroyed Friday night when a fire broke out at an Andover business.

ANDOVER, MA — Five trucks were destroyed Friday night when a fire broke out in the parking lot of an Andover business, according to fire officials.

The fire broke out at around 7 p.m. at 46 Lowell Junction Road. Firefighters arrived to find several trucks on fire, including an oil tanker. The fire was out by around 7:45 p.m. and no one was injured.

Following the fire, Andover health officials and the state Department of Environmental Protection responded to the scene to check for any possible environmental contamination. The cause of the fire was still under investigation on Saturday morning.

The trucks belonged to the construction company Deloury Industries.
