Airlines Canceling Flights in Preparation of Storm

Nearly 200 flights that were scheduled to arrive or depart from Logan Airport on Tuesday have already been canceled as of 9:30 a.m. Tuesday as the airlines deal with another major snowstorm.

Seventy-nine departing flights from Logan have already been canceled, including half of the flights scheduled between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. Tuesday,  according to FlightStats.

The numbers are even worse for arriving flights. The majority of arriving flights planned for Tuesday night have already been canceled.

JetBlue Airways, which needed to cancel hundreds of flights during a snowstorm earlier this month, has already canceled 25 departing flights from Logan and 43 arriving flights on Tuesday.
