School Delayed Two
Arlington’s public schools will have a two-hour delayed opening Wednesday, Jan. 22, according to the district.
The district is monitoring the storm and will post any closing information here.
Snow Emergency, Parking Ban
UPDATE: Arlington's parking ban was lifted at 8 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 22.
The town has declared a snow emergency/parking ban from 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 21, to noon Wednesday, Jan. 22.
During a snow emergency, a parking ban is in place on all streets and municipal parking lots. Any vehicles parked on the streets during these hours will be subject to ticketing and towing.
Pilot Program Parking at Russell Common Lot
As part of a pilot program, there will be some parking spots available at the Russell Common Lot in Arlington Center on a first come, first serve basis. Cars parked in the lot during the emergency must be moved one hour after the emergency has been lifted (1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 22). Please see map for location of these spots.
JRM is still planning to collect trash Wednesday (on a holiday schedule).
Robbins Library will close at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 21. Town offices and libraries will open at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 22.
